Sequencing raw data of conjunctival melanoma

Conjunctival melanoma

Sample description

Twelve formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded (FFPE) conjunctival melanoma specimens were retrospectively enrolled in this study. Six cases each with good or poor clinical outcome with a follow-up of at least 24 months were examined, the latter being defined by local recurrence and/or systemic metastases. Following routine histological staining, the histological diagnosis for each specimen was determined by two experienced ophthalmic pathologists. The 3'-RNA-sequencing method MACE was applied for sequencing of FFPE samples, as described in Boneva et al. (2020).
